Role Summary: Operates commercial washing machines, tumble dryers, and dry cleaning equipment safely and efficiently to clean various fabric types.

 Key Responsibilities:

 Sort laundry loads by fabric type, color, and washing temperature requirements.

 Measure and load appropriate detergents, softeners, and chemical solvents according to fabric care guidelines.

 Operate commercial washing units, extractors, dry cleaning machines, and dryers safely.

 Inspect garments post-wash to ensure stains have been properly treated or flagged for re-washing.

 Perform routine daily cleaning and basic maintenance of washing and drying equipment.

Skills

Previous experience operating commercial laundry or dry cleaning machinery.

 Strong understanding of fabrics, garment care labels, and chemical safety.

 Physical stamina capable of standing for long periods and lifting moderate loads.
